View through two halls over fallen gigantic stalagmites, all the way to the entry drop. The caves in the heart of the Sežana karst area are famous for their rich decoration with speleothems. Millennia of limestone deposition have produced, among other speleothems, massive stalagmites, which in some cases collapse due to their weight and poor foundation.

The main part of the system is the underground river Rak, which flows from the Cerknica plain. In the entrance pit of the cave Habečkov brezen, which cavers began exploring more than 100 years ago. For cavers, the cave ends at a depth of 338 meters with a siphon lake, and the continuation is accessible only to cave divers. In 2011, diver Simon Burja dived 138 meters deep in the outflow part of the siphon and deepened the cave to 467 meters. Habečkov brezen is considered the deepest cave in the municipality of Idrija, #Slovenia, and is ranked as Slovenia's 45th deepest cave.

In both caves, the initial parts end with a siphon, so cavers have been trying for decades to discover new access to the intermediate parts. With a length of almost 5.5 km, these parts are accessible only to cave divers.
