Stadium Bird’s Nest

Last year, the photographic project Mimicry by photographer Matjaž Tančič moved to China. In addition to other beautiful locations in Beijing, we also shot in the Beijing National Stadium, named as Bird’s Nest. There was also some time available for 3D shots of the stadium. A panoramic shot of the stadium is shortlisted in the category of panorama of the international contest Sony World Photography 3D Award 2012, organised by World Photography Organization.

Mini Cooper S Coupe

A few hours in the company of the likeable Mini Cooper S Coupe car in the foggy and cold morning were just right for a short collage of 3D clips. The first sun rays for a few additional photographs were caught by me and Matjaž Tančič only on the nearby hill.

Siddharta

In June 2011 Place3D team covered stadium concert of one of the biggest slovenian rock group Siddharta. It was held at Stožice Stadium in Ljubljana. Our group consisted of four members, three of them took photos and one held GoPro3D camera system.

Rolls-Royce Phantom

We had an amazing opportunity to take photographs of the prestige car Rolls-Royce Phantom in the opera house in Ljubljana. The photographs with the ballet dancers, which Matjaž Tančič took, were meant for publishing in the magazine Goodlife, but there were a few moments also available for 3D shots of the interior and the details.

Mass Catalog

At the end of September, Matjaž Tančič (Place3D) and I spent quite a few evenings on the streets of Ljubljana, where we shot shoes for the first 3D catalogue of the company Mass with the ”light-brush” technique. Aside from the shoes, the catalogue also excels with 3D shorts of popular Croatian singer Severina.

BMW in the afternoon

While photographing for the Slovenian magazine Goodlife, there was also some time available for a quick photographing of the new BMW. There wasn’t really a big selection of locations, but at least the sunset added that special something to the shot.

Caves in southern France

At the end of August, a small group of cavers set out towards the caves in the south of France. The reason was the first international meeting of cave photographers, which took place in the city of Olargues. Besides 2D photographs, we also manages to take quite a few 3D shots.

BMX biker

In the beginning of september the first 3D commercial in Slovenia (photo and video) appeared in magazines, on citylights and webpages. Place3D was responsible for the 3D photo of the biker and I was also hired as stereographer.
